pHISHING SCAM awareness

There are phishing emails circulating pretending to be a conference accommodation booking service. This is a widespread problem, impacting a number of conferences over the past few years.

Further information on scams

We do NOT book accommodation for conference delegates, so please delete these emails on receipt and do not, under any circumstances, share your card details.

How to identify scams: The scammers appear to be using several email addresses such as booking(at)gtravelexpert.com or operations(at)gtravelservice.com, sometimes hidden behind a conference-related name.

All conference communication will originate from pollen(at)nomadit.co.uk.

Don’t worry! These are not data breaches – the phishers appear to be picking off the names of accepted authors on the conference website and then finding email addresses on institutional websites. We take your data protection very seriously.

The call for Presentations and posters closed on 5 December:

The call for presentations finished at 23:59 on 5 December. The response to the call was much much larger than we were expecting and almost every panel has received far more great proposals than the conference can possibly accommodate.
Convenors are currently making the tough decisions between their proposals and we anticipate announcing the results of the call for presentations by 4 February 2026.

Due to the number of proposals each panel received there are almost no panels with space to accept additional papers. We are sorry to announce that this means we will not be able to offer a transfer process for those whose abstracts were not accepted into the panels.

The dates of the meeting are confirmed: 29 June to 3 July 2026
