Pollen2026 News:
Results of the call for presentations:
Poster proposal results will be announced in a few weeks at the beginning of March.
Registration:
Early Bird Registration for POLLEN2026 is now open for those with accepted content in the conference.
General registration for all other attendees will open on 17 March.
Day registrations will be available as well, but these will only launch after the panels have been scheduled.
Conference timetable:
The general conference timetable has been added to the Programme page so you can see the general timetable and layout of POLLEN2026.
The individual panels will be scheduled in the following weeks, once we have received all the responses from convenors.
Details of events, workshops & plenaries will also be added to the timetable in the coming weeks.
pHISHING SCAM awareness
There are phishing emails circulating pretending to be a conference accommodation booking service. This is a widespread problem, impacting a number of conferences over the past few years.
Further information on scams
We do NOT book accommodation for conference delegates, so please delete these emails on receipt and do not, under any circumstances, share your card details.
How to identify scams: The scammers appear to be using several email addresses such as booking(at)gtravelexpert.com or operations(at)gtravelservice.com, sometimes hidden behind a conference-related name.
All conference communication will originate from pollen(at)nomadit.co.uk.
Don’t worry! This is not a data breach – the phishers appear to be picking off the names of accepted authors on the conference website and then finding email addresses on institutional websites. We take your data protection very seriously.
The call for Presentations and posters closed on 5 December:
The call for presentations finished at 23:59 on 5 December. The response to the call was much much larger than we were expecting and almost every panel has received far more great proposals than the conference can possibly accommodate.
Convenors are currently making the tough decisions between their proposals and we anticipate announcing the results of the call for presentations by 4 February 2026.
Due to the number of proposals each panel received there are almost no panels with space to accept additional papers. We are sorry to announce that this means we will not be able to offer a transfer process for those whose abstracts were not accepted into the panels.
Accepted panels for POLLEN2026:
We received over 220 submissions, which is an incredible number. Many thanks for this effort and interest. The accepted panels are now available to peruse on the conference programme page.
To stay up to date with all the important POLLEN2026 announcements you can subscribe to the POLLEN2026 conference mailing list.
The dates of the meeting are confirmed: 29 June to 3 July 2026
To learn more about our rational and purposes, then please look at the following link, or download the pdf document.
If you want to know more about how it works and would like to participate then read on.
The first step was to propose a panel, or some other contribution. Then, when all the panels have been accepted, we will be ready to consider papers (and other contributions), these are submitted directly to the panel convenors in the first instance.
Please look at this page for detailed instructions and FAQs. If you just want to present a paper then wait until October when the panels are announced and submit your paper to an appropriate panel.
Please remember that your name can only appear three times in the programme – once as a convenor, once as a presenter, and once as taking part in some sort of other contribution.
Here are important deadlines:
- The window to propose panels closed on 31 July 2025.
- Accepted panels were announced in early October 2025.
- The deadline for submitting papers and other contributions is 5 December 2025.
- The deadline for panel convenors to accept papers and other contributions to their panel is December 19 2025.
- Accepted papers will be announced in February 2026.
- Early Bird Registration for those with accepted content opens 10 February 2026.
- General Registration opens on 17 March 2026.
- The conference happens 29 June – 3 July 2026.
Please note that in submitting a panel proposal you and your fellow convenors are also agreeing to decide upon all submissions to your panel by 19 December 2025.
