POLLEN2026 Registration

Participant registration 10/02 to 16/03 2026, General registration 17/03 to 18/05 2026.

All participants – panel convenors, authors, chairs, discussants, organisers, keynotes, plenary speakers, guests, volunteers, committee members and those without any specific role – were required to register in advance of the event.

Registration timeline:
  • Early bird registration opened on 10 February 2026 for those with accepted content in the conference until 23:59 CET on 16 March 2026.
  • Early bird general registration then opened for all attendees on 17 March 2026 and ran until 18 May 2026.
    All those with accepted content were required to register by 23:59 CEST 18 May to confirm their participation.
  • After the end of Early bird registration the fees will rise, anyone registering for the conference from 19th May onwards will pay higher fees.
Conference fees

The conference was organised as a face-to-face event.

The registration category names were designed to reflect individual’s financial situations and access to funding, it was thus up to individuals to select the category that best represented their personal situation most appropriately.

Registration costs shown are the post- early-bird rates.

  • Solidarity registration: €450
    For those from well resourced institutions who are able, the solidarity rate contributes to the available delegate assistance funding for POLLEN2026.
  • Standard registration: €440
  • Student registration: €240
    Concession rate for students.
  • Concession countries registration: €140
    Concession rate for those attending from low-, lower middle-, or upper middle-income countries.
  • Concession countries Student registration: €70
    Concession rate for students attending from low-, lower middle- or upper middle-income countries.
  • Day registration(1 day only): €190
    The rate to register for those only wishing to attend a single day only.
What is included?

Registration fees included 3 drinks receptions, 7 refreshment breaks and access to all sessions and events, though some events had limited capacity and individuals could sign up for these separately. Lunch was not provided at POLLEN2026 as our venues could not cater for so many people at once.

Delegate assistance: Call for funding

The call for funding is now closed.
The call was active from 10th February – 25 March 2026, and results were announced in April 2026.

Cancelling your registration

Cancellations more than four weeks before the conference (29 May 2026) will be refunded, less a fee of €70 to cover administrative costs. Cancellations after that point will not be offered a refund.
