As the year unfolds, many exciting developments are taking place across the Network. Here are our latest updates:
First, we are pleased to announce the launch of our LinkedIn account. Together with our Bluesky profile, these platforms provide dynamic spaces for networking and for staying up to date with events, meetings, job opportunities, and new research in political ecology. Connect with us!
In other news, we are updating our mailing management system. Due to the growing size of the Pollen Network, and in order to enhance both security and efficiency, we are migrating to EmailOctopus. You can find more information about the platform on their website:
https://emailoctopus.com/
If you were subscribed to our newsletter but have not received the monthly update since February, please get in touch with us at: politicalecologynetwork@gmail.com
Finally, preparations for the Pollen 2026 Conference (29 June – 3 July, Barcelona) are well underway. We have accommodation news for students attending POLLEN 2026: we are happy to report that cheap accommodation has become available outside Barcelona. It is close to UAB (the venue on Tuesday 30th June) but far from UB (the venue on all the other days). So this will entail considerable travel. But it is affordable. More details can be found here under Student Residences.
Thank you for being part of this growing Network. Stay connected, stay engaged, and keep contributing to the vibrant field of political ecology.
